Luke + Steffanie tied the knot at the Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove in St. Petersburg. The private beach had a beautiful view of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. It was a rainy week and all signs pointed to a rainy ceremony. The bide and groom were not worried. They just wanted to say ‘i do’. The bride did a mini first look… with her dad. Oh what a tear jerker. This was even more emotional than many bride and groom first looks. About 5 minutes before the ceremony, the matron of honor and bride decided to go for an outside ceremony. Friends and hotel staff quickly dried the chairs and the rain held off for the next hour. Perfect! The clouds made for a moody background. There was just enough light for a dramatic sunset. The night was full of laughing, dancing and the best matron of honor toast I have ever seen. 🙂

Jonathan + Renee first stole my heart on their engagement session. But their love was even more obvious on their wedding day. ❤ They were surrounded by an amazing group of friends and family. The Powell Crosley Estate is an amazing venue. I love how there are different rooms and patios for each event. The patio on the back lawn with the hanging chandelier and view of the gulf is breathtaking. The new Mr. + Mrs. Surprised guests with an elegant choreographed first dance. The smiles on the bride and groom’s faces were huge. But that wasn’t the only surprise of the night. The groom’s parents surprised the couple with a honeymoon trip. They played a song to reveal the secret location… ‘Viva Las Vegas’! 🙂

What’s better than a trip to Siesta Key? An e-session on Siesta Key!  I loved this session because the sun was just right. I get so excited when I get to be creative with light. I also wanted to copy her outfit! 🙂 But my FAVORITE thing about this couple… they can make each other laugh hysterically! I couldn’t help but smile watching them giggle. ❤

 

 

 

JB + Kelly are ENGAGED <3 Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Engagement Photography- Sarasota Wedding Photography

We explored Marie Selby Botanical Gardens with this energetic couple. However, the highlight of this engagement session was going for a ride on their boat. This was our first time taking engagement photos on a boat… all Kelly’s idea… and it was awesome! It was a little challenging moving around on the boat, but they were patient while we lined up the photos. After this session, we really felt like we had known this couple for years.
